Today vow to allow life to happen on its own terms, not your own. Sometimes your greatest power is in letting things go.

  1. This is one of my superpowers. I have learned to not stress about things I have no control over. It gets easier with practice and makes life a lot happier.

      1. Thank you, Dr Andrea — that’s a wonderfully uplifting way to put it, too. 🙂
Have a lovely day… and keep up the excellent posts, by the way. 😉

  2. I’ve learned this, the hard way I guess. Regardless, I am so grateful I have learned it and try to put in into practice daily. Some days I get it right and some, well not so much. But for me, IT IS the only way! Thank you for sharing!

  3. God, how perfect is this, Andrea! How do you tend to know where I am? 🙂

Funny, I was recently in a Spiritual Psychology program, and we picked a quality that we wanted more of. I picked “allowing” (or maybe more accurately, it picked me). Thank you, and much love. ~Debbie

  4. I love it when life presents these wonderful “coincidences”. Just a day or two ago I ran across a draft post that I had never published. In it I discussed accepting and allowing, and what I had learned from practicing them. Then yesterday in yoga class the instructor set the theme as allowing. She summarized it as “Life is a delicate balance of effort and surrender.” Now I see your post on the same topic and am thrilled that the Universe has presented me with just what I require right now. I just love it when this happens. Thanks for your post.

      1. It feels so liberating just letting go and allowing the things that we cannot control to just run their course…in the end, we usually realize that our fears are bigger than what happens… ☺💓
