Once I learned that the “storm” is always going to be going on, I learned how to be at peace within, especially when the “storm” is raging! My life of recovering from complete and utter dysfunction, is now one of value, purpose, and spreading hope and happiness to fellow travelers within the storm. Thanks for your post!
Thanks for sharing! You bring so much light to the storm Darryl! So much hope and purpose. This I can tell just from a bit of time on your blog. I look forward to more! 🌟
As my dear friend Chuy would say:
Wag more, bark less.
Paz
The best and more original I’ve heard in a LONG time. Thank you for sharing. Chuy sounds like a super cool guy. Brings an instant smile to my face!
Great post! I love letting go of the fight.
Me too Becky! We write what we need to practice. Ever since I posted this, my husband and I have been saying “wave the white flag” every time we start fighting with reality. And the bonus is that we can’t stop laughing every time we do. It takes so little to flip the switch on our animal brain. The key is to remember to wave the flag. 🚩🏳️
Yes! Remembering in the heat of the moment… challenging. 😉
How amazing to turn it into laughter! ❤
The best feeling! 😊
p.s. Great post.
Thank you! 💜
I been doing this a lot more. Some things just aren’t worth it.
Another stellar blog post, Dr. Andrea. Reblogged – heck yes! ♥

This motivating blog post from Dr. Andrea Dinardo is a reminder to embrace the zen. As she writes, in those moments that test us “try rolling with it.” Will do! ☮
Love Christy
Love this! I find that sometimes it can be really hard to change our perspective and response. Ultimately, it is ours to accept into our lives or to not. It is our peace —Thank you for the reminder!
“It is our peace.” 💙
Yes very True Andrea.. May we forever stay within the FLOW.. ❤
Yes! The flow is my favourite place to be. 🌊

Great post! I’m so glad I read this today to help me start my day off with positivity and rid the negative thoughts in my mind. Very important message.
Brilliant! I love hearing when my writing shifts someone positive!
We have 60,000 to 70,000 thoughts a day.
Try to fight anything and guess what happens.
Those are the thoughts that we ruminate about.
Emotional Turmoil in the defense of self.
I. Me. Mine.
Yes! Let go and be free!
Well said Marty! I always appreciate your insights. May tumultuous thoughts roll through you. All day long. 🍃
Great post. Great advice. Love your message. Have a good one.
You too! So many unpredictables in life. The sure thing is this moment. May yours be filled with peace and poetry!
